About Khokha

Nestled in the heart of Piscataway, Khokha is a vibrant Pakistani restaurant that masterfully blends traditional flavors with modern twists. Its menu features standout dishes like the Crispy Chicken Burger, where tender fried chicken meets their signature Khokha sauce, delivering a perfect balance of crunch and spice. The option to customize spice levels adds a thoughtful touch, inviting both mild and heat lovers to indulge.

Beyond burgers, Khokha’s mains reveal a deep respect for authentic flavors. The lamb chops are seasoned with a unique blend of spices and grilled to perfection, served alongside their distinctive Khokha chutney. Each bite is a harmonious dance of smoky, savory, and tangy notes that linger pleasantly. The Crispy Chicken Paratha Roll is another highlight—a fresh, hand-rolled paratha enveloping seasoned fried chicken and the signature sauce, offering a comforting yet exciting taste experience.

The sides at Khokha are more than mere accompaniments. Their Kachumar Salad refreshes the palate with its crisp mix of cucumbers, tomatoes, and onions. For indulgence, the Masala Cheese Fries top off crispy fries with a special cheese sauce that’s rich and flavorful without overwhelming the senses.

The customer experience here is consistently warm and genuine. Friendly service and a welcoming ambiance make it a great spot to enjoy halal Pakistani cuisine with friends or alone. From the delicate balance of spice in the chicken burger to the robust flavors of the slow-cooked pulled beef, every dish feels thoughtfully crafted. Personally, the crispy chicken burger with level 2 spice stole the show for its addictive crunch and depth of flavor, reminding me why Khokha continues to earn its place as a local favorite. Whether you're drawn by the grilled lamb chops or the fresh parathas, Khokha promises a flavorful journey that honors Pakistani culinary heritage with flair and heart.

I came here for a small lunch recently and had a great experience. The lamb chops are so flavourful and the crispy chicken paratha roll was delicious. The chai is also solid and I would definitely come back here. It’s halal, there’s plenty of seating, and the service was good.

As an international food reviewer, i have tried many halal smash burgers and i must say this is one of the best ones i have had. The freshness of the patty, the jalapenos and the sauce just allows all the flavors to burst. You must try it, I am sure youll love it!

I stopped by here briefly will in the area… BABY!!!! Let me tell you this place did not disappoint I would recommend the waygu burger it was about $16 bucks but packed with flavor… I also tried the lamb chops I believe Australia it had a great presentation on screen it was awesome also the down side it had only two lamb chops with fries… The fries were mid if there is a option to get it without the fries I would… I will give it a 2nd try and let ya’ll know until then Enjoy ;)

We arrived here late at night and I was surprised that the food was so fresh! Very flavorful! You have to get the Smash Burger! That was the best!! And the lamb chops were surprisingly yummy too. The only thing that was lacking were their home made drinks did not taste good artificial flavored. Overall great burger spot!

My friend introduced me to Khokha around the time it first opened. Since then I have introduced this place to plenty of other friends, and it has now become a household name to us :) I come here all the time to eat or study. My favorite is the crispy chicken burger (with the level 2 spicy sauce)!! soooo crunchy and tender. If you like Chickfila, you should start getting Khokha. I also highly recommend the crispy chicken paratha roll + chai/chai milkshake <3 Also, the staff is always incredibly warm and welcoming. if you're craving a spicy crunchy chicken burger with your friends, please try this place!!

Come here often. Truly an exceptional place- from food to service. They have mastered fusion cuisine and portion sizes are generous. Staff is always helpful and very attentive. Photo of the incredible chatpati wings. Also love their paratha rolls!

We had a truly wow factor experience here !!! Everything we ordered was exceptional. The lamb chops were incredibly tender, cooked to perfection, and full of flavors. Even the chicken sandwich had exceeded our expectations. If you're a fan of spicy food with amazing flavors, this is the perfect spot.

This was my first time trying Khokha. Khokha is a Pakistani American street style food restaurant and it is zabiha halal. When you first enter the restaurant you can either order at the counter or at the kiosk. I placed my order at the kiosk and took a number and once my food was ready it was brought to my table. I ordered the Crispy Chicken Burger which came with pickles, coleslaw, and their signature sauce. I also got to try a bite of their Wagyu Burger which came with chimichurri, jalapeño aioi and romaine lettuce. Both were super good and super messy. I don't know about ya'll but something about a messy burger hits the spot for me. I also ordered some loaded fries to share. The loaded fries I got this time around was the loaded fries jalapeño smash. All I can say is I definitely threw down. Overall, it was easy to order. The food came out at a reasonable time. My food was nice and hot. The overall appearance of the inside of the restaurant was clean. The only area in the restaurant that needed a little more attention was the restrooms.
